Tucker home from the hospital

After having had to tell you on February 18 that Tucker’s scheduled TV appearance for Monday the 19th had been canceled because he had come down with the Flu, I learned that following Friday he had been admitted to the hospital because the Flu had developed into pneumonia. While being treated for that condition, his blood sugar began fluctuating wildly, and the doctors kept him hospitalized until they were able to devise a new Insulin cocktail that adequately regulated it.
Today I’m pleased to report that I’ve just spoken to him as he and Becky were driving back home after the doctors finally gave him his walking papers. So it shouldn’t be long before the author himself is back in the saddle and up to his old tricks and, we are all hopeful, none the worse for wear.
Now we’ll just have to wait for WBIR to get their act together and reschedule that TV appearance. If WBIR is next, can Oprah be far behind?
